Proposed district of Tanawal Govt
to remove concerns of locals of Haripur

Umerzai has agreed with the demand of the local people opposing to
include five union councils of District Haripur as part of the proposed
District Tanawal.
A delegation of Haripur led by PML -N leader and former Chief Minister Pir Sabir Shah MPA, comprising elders of the five Union Councils Bairr, Kalinjar, Bait Gali, Amazai and Ladarmang called on Commissioner Hazara at his office on Tuesday. DCO Haripur Syed Mohsin Ali Shah was also present on the occasion.
Umerzai said Chief Minister KP Amir Haider Khan Hoti has all the regard and respect for the people of Haripur district and wanted to take them into confidence about creation of new administrative district in Haripur.The government wanted to remove concerns of the respective people about creation of the new district Tanawal. He assured that these five union councils would remain part of District Haripur and there should be no concern left about it. He assured to fully accommodate the view points of the local people while submitting report to the government about the setting up of new district. DCO and DOR Haripur have been instructed in this regard.Earlier leader of the delegation Pir Sabir Shah informed the Commissioner about reservations and concerns of the local people against inclusion of these five union councils as part of the new district Tanawal.
He said we are not against creation of the new district in Haripur, adding the people who are benefited from this change should be given their right
